The Lee County Dental Society, Inc. is a non-profit professional organization comprised of over 150 member dentists, including general dentists and specialists, that practice in Lee County.  All members are required to be Florida-licensed and members in good standing with the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association & the West Coast District Dental Association.  The LCDS is an affiliate of the West Coast District Dental Association.

For the public the LCDS provides dental referrals, addresses questions and concerns regarding dentistry, and complaint mediation through the Peer Review process.  For our members we provide continuing education programs, monthly general membership meetings and involvement in state and national legislative issues.

The mission of the LCDS is to promote organized dentistry and to uphold the highest standards of dental care.  Our duty is to support the professional growth of our members, to act as a source of information for the membership and the public, to support quality dental health care and continuing education, to strengthen the patient-dentist relationship and be responsive to the changing needs of the public and the profession.
